I went solo today for lunch and decided to sample one of the healthier lunch options. I went for Poha which consists of a special type of rice with vegetables and peanuts. It certainly doesn't compare to any paneer dish but it was a nice change to eat something that tasted healthy!
I didn't think this was possible but I am getting tired of eating bread. I eat it at virtually every meal, usually in the form of rotis or wraps, so shezwan noodles were a welcome relief. They were spicier than last time but still delicious.
My heart was filled with joy when I saw this on the menu - smoked salmon bagels are one of my favourite foods. This was a pretty decent effort and I would definitely have it again.
The options around ub city for lunch are predominantly western and expensive. However Fava does a rather good meal deal. I love their wraps but I am going to tire of them at the current rate of consumption.
I sampled a wide variety of dishes including daal, paneer, rotis, paratha as well as some local desserts - they were all delicious! Highly recommend!
I had eaten breakfast late so only wanted something light to keep me going through a busy afternoon. It contained omelette, tomato, onion and some spices. Not an earth shattering sandwich but it did the job.
I'm so sad, I've had yet more dominos. Luckily I managed to persuade the team that extra cheese wasn't necessary but we still ate half a large pizza each.....
