At 2.34pm I was at the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre. Incredible architecture and it is a stark contrast to the European / Islamic styles in the city centre. This was a few kilometres outside the city centre so had my first adventure on the metro to get here.
The meal portions are usually huge so went for a lighter lamb roll at Kebab Express.
I was in a restaurant praying they accepted card as I had no cash!
Due to a comedy of errors I managed to buy my train ticket for the wrong day so had to use mime to facilitate the ticket change.
