It’s great to be in Poland and I was overwhelmed by the options available. As is to be expected, the menus predominantly contain meat and carb, this is not the place to be on a diet. We shared pierogi (dumplings with cheese, bacon and potato) and bigos (sauerkraut and meat). The latter was particularly tasty and definitely more palatable than the sauerkraut in Bratislava. The pierogi was a little bland but I mixed it with the bigos and it was very filling.
